Facility Rental


Are you looking for a place to hold a special party, baby or bridal shower or business meeting?  Our Victorian themed parlor and dining room will provide a beautiful and intimate setting for your event.


Rental of our first floor includes the use of double parlors, large dining room, relaxing front porch, rear brick patio. Rental includes tables (round & rectangle) and chairs, plates, silverware, glasses and cookware. 


For a modest additional fee, you can also rent our large kitchen with two gas ranges, refrigerator, freezer and butcher block island.


Your rental helps support our mission to providing low-cost housing to women in need in our community.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT RENTALS

RATES/DEPOSIT

  • The hourly rental rate applies to the total hours you occupy the facility, including set-up and clean-up. 

  • A $50 deposit is required to reserve a date and will be applied to final charges.

  • Rate Information is on the Room Request Form.


BILLING

  • You will receive an invoice prior to your event.

  • You will be billed the amount indicated on the rental agreement unless you requested additional items after the agreement was completed.

  • You will receive an additional invoice after the event in there event  there is damage or clean-up isn't complete.


BUILDING

  • You may enter the house through the back door about fifteen minutes prior to your confirmed arrival time. If you need access to the building sooner, please contact our rental manager to make other arrangements. 

  • Delivery of equipment/food must occur within room rental period.

  • You and your guests only have access to the main floor. The upper floors and basement are private space for the women who live in our house.

  • The use of nails, thumbtacks, staples or any material that could damage our walls or floors is prohibited.

  • For safety reasons, open flames or candles are Not permitted.



SETUP/CLEANUP

  • We will set up tables, chairs and linens according to the Rental Request Form.

  • We have complete table service for your use and table linens are available for a fee. For more information on kitchen equipment please contact Rental manager.

  • To avoid additional changes, you must clean after your event: 

    • Washing tables tops and chairs with sanititzing solution (located under kitchen sink)

    • Food scraps and trash must be placed in the dumpster located in the parking lot.

    • Clean up spills and vacuum floors. Cleaning supplies, broom located in kitchen. Vacuum located in coat closet adjacent to the bathroom

    • Returning rooms to their original setup.


​ALCOHOL/SMOKING

  • If you wish to serve alcohol, you must specify that an gain approval from the rental coordinator. You will be required to secure a certificate of liability insurance for an event  where alcohol is served. 
  •  Smoking is PROHIBITED inside the building but is permitted in our parking lot. 


CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations must be received no less than two weeks prior to your scheduled event or your deposit will be forfeited. 


ADVERTISING

  • If you advertise your event, you may state that the meeting is being held at the Women's City Club facility, but you in no way imply that the WCC is sponsoring the meeting or endorsing the views expressed in the meting. You must provide an advance copy of any advertising.


DIRECT SALES

  • The facility is available for direct sales events or seminars as long as the WCC Board deems in advance that they do not conflict with the mission of WCC. Direct sales may not take place on the premises during such seminars without approval by the WCC Board. Admission may be charged for attendance at such programs upon approval of the WCC Board.
